Anterique Ballpoint Pen End Piece Green

The Anterique end piece in green is the rear part of the two-piece BP1 ballpoint pen – a plastic body in matte green with gold-colored accents that is assembled with the matching grip section to form a complete writing instrument. The concept originates from Japan and is formally oriented toward American ballpoint pens from the 1960s: clear silhouette, lightweight, pleasant grip. The refill is located exclusively in the front part; the end piece serves the color design and handling of the pen.

Special Features

• Green with gold accents: The muted, matte green appears calm and understated – a tone that works as well with black inks and white paper as it does with earthy notebook covers. The gold-colored details provide a clear, refined contrast.
• Two-piece system: End piece and grip section can be combined – different colors for both parts allow individual assembly. The refill is only contained in the grip section (front part); the end piece is independent of it.
• Lightweight ABS plastic: Despite its length of approximately 142 mm (assembled with front part), the housing is remarkably light in the hand – no fatigue even during longer writing sessions.
• Retro design language: The round, slightly tapered silhouette follows the classic American ballpoint pen profile from the 1960s: no sharp edges, no clip, smooth transitions.

Application & Tips

• Change color: If you own several end pieces in different colors, you can adjust the pen's appearance situationally – for example, a darker end piece for everyday office use, a colored one for your notebook at home.
• Combine with matching grip section: The end piece is assembled with an Anterique grip section (front part, sold separately). Only the grip section contains the oil-based ballpoint refill with ultra-low viscosity and 0.5 mm line width.
• Ink and writing characteristics: The Anterique refill installed in the grip section works with an oil-based ink of very low viscosity – the result is a smooth, barely smudging line on smooth and lightly textured paper. The ink dries quickly enough to remain clean even on smooth, calendered paper.
• Planners and daily calendars: The fine 0.5 mm line fits well in narrow columns and small boxes – ideal for structured pages with little room per entry.
