Kuru Toga & Mechanical Pencils
The lead that turns itself What makes the Kuru Toga special is inside: every time you lift the pencil off the paper, a small gear turns the lead a little further. It wears down evenly instead of going flat on one side, so your line stays fine and consistent. The lead also breaks less often because it keeps a rounded point. You'll notice it most when taking notes, drawing or sketching technical details.
From starter to Dive With us you'll find the Kuru Toga from the affordable Standard and KS models to the Roulette and the faster-rotating Advance, up to Wood and Metal with wooden and metal bodies. At the top sits the Kuru Toga Dive, which advances the lead automatically as you write. Most models use 0.5 mm lead, and the Advance also comes in 0.3 mm.
Lead holders and 2.0 mm For bold lines and free drawing, we also carry the MH-500 lead holder in HB and 2B and the Uni Field mechanical pencil for 2.0 mm leads. You'll find matching leads and replacement erasers in the Pencil Leads & Erasers category.
