Uni-ball ZENTO Gel Pen 0.38 Agate

The uni-ball ZENTO Flow Model in Agate is a Japanese rollerball pen with water-based pigment ink and a long aluminum grip. The barrel and anodized metal grip feature the same muted agate tone. At its core is the specially developed ZENTO ink, which significantly reduces writing friction thanks to an integrated surfactant (POA). With its fine 0.38 mm tip, the pen is ideal for precise, detailed writing, from tight-lined bullet journals to detailed notes.

Application & Tips

• Bullet journaling and tight grids: The 0.38 mm tip produces a fine line that remains legible even in small grids and tight layouts.
• Ink-resistant, calendered paper: The ZENTO ink reaches its full potential on smooth, closed paper. On highly absorbent paper, the line may appear somewhat wider.
• With highlighters: Water-based highlighters can dissolve the ink. Let the ink dry thoroughly and test your highlighters on an inconspicuous spot first.
• Handling: The aluminum grip is smooth. For better grip during extended writing, hold the pen a bit higher up.
• Getting to know ZENTO: If you'd like to try ZENTO ink first, we also offer the more affordable standard model with a long rubber grip. It uses the same ink system and the same replacement refills.
