Ohto Ballpoint Pen TL01-B5 grey

The Ohto TL01-B5 in grey is a click ballpoint pen made from aluminium – exactly 91 mm long and thus as compact as a business card. The shaft, crafted from anodised aluminium with an SK-steel clip, feels pleasantly cool and secure between your fingers despite weighing just 3.1 g. The oil-based refill with its fine needle point (0.5 mm) writes directly and precisely, without smudging.

The TL01-B5 is the refined further development of the Ohto Minimo: same length, simplified two-button click mechanism instead of the previous slider. The housing combines three materials – aluminium for the shaft (lightweight, corrosion-resistant), SK-steel for the sprung clip (maintains shape even after many pocket cycles), brass for the push button and tip (dimensionally stable, precise refill seating). The pen is manufactured in Japan. D1 compatibility makes it an open system: oil-based ballpoint refill supplied as standard, swappable for a gel refill or other D1 formats depending on your writing preference. The standard oil-based refill is not archival-quality.
