The Hobonichi writing pad "ONE PIECE magazine: Everyday Scenes" is an A6 pencilboard made from Yupo synthetic paper – perfectly sized for the matching Hobonichi Techo. The surface features relaxed everyday scenes of the Straw Hat crew: eating, enjoying tea, sleeping, between battles. The design was created as a collaboration with "ONE PIECE magazine" and bears the official © Eiichiro Oda/SHUEISHA.

• "Today!!!"-Tab: A colour-highlighted tab at the corner doubles as a bookmark – the current day opens automatically in the Techo without searching.
• Yupo material: Yupo is a water-resistant synthetic paper with a smooth, slightly slip-resistant underside. The surface provides the Techo's pages with defined resistance when writing – particularly pleasant with pencil and mechanical pencil, but also with fine ballpoint refills and gel pens with quick-drying ink.

• Writing pad: The pencilboard protects the pages beneath from impressions – useful with firmer writing pressure, fine lines, or when using multiple pages simultaneously.
• Bookmark: The "Today!!!"-tab protrudes from the side of the Techo and marks the current day without additional markers or sticky strips.
• Adjust writing feel: If you prefer a firmer surface when writing on softer pages, slide the pad directly under your writing page – Yupo gives the Techo's paper pages noticeably more stability than a simple paper or cardboard pad.
• Pencil and mechanical pencil: On the firm surface, the pen's spring tension is more even – fine lines and hatching become more precise.

For Techo and Yupo Enthusiasts

Yupo is manufactured by extruding polypropylene and is not fibred from cellulose like traditional paper. The surface is therefore completely water-resistant, tear-resistant, and absorbs no moisture from the air – the pencilboard does not warp, even if the Techo is used in humid environments or with wet fingers. For use as a writing pad, this means: consistent thickness throughout its lifespan, no wave formation, no yellowing. The matt surface reflects little light, making writing with side lighting more pleasant than on coated gloss cardboard.
