The Postalco Proof Line Nylon Dopp Kit in Mountain Green is a foldable double pouch made from Postalco's own rainwear nylon – a three-ply fabric that is completely waterproof, wind-resistant yet soft and lightweight in hand. Two separate zip pockets are connected by a rigid webbing strap and fold flat when empty; when filled, they stand stably on a level surface. Handcrafted in Japan.

Proof Line Nylon is not standard packing fabric, but Postalco's original rainwear material: three bonded layers – outside dense water-repellent nylon with a cotton feel, in the middle a microscopically thin membrane against wind and moisture, inside ultralight mesh. The fabric is woven in Japan and is completely PFOA-free – without the health-concerning C8 chemistry used in many water-repellent textiles. The DWR finish is not merely applied to the surface, but anchored between and on the back of the fibres, which significantly increases the durability of water repellency compared to surface-treated fabrics. Over time and with frequent washing, the DWR effect diminishes – low-temperature ironing noticeably reactivates it.
