Use & Tips

• Fitting a Eurostyle ceramic roller refill: If you prefer a more fluid ink flow, swap the supplied MegaLine ballpoint refill for a ceramic roller refill in Eurostyle format. These refills respond more sensitively to paper texture — smooth, calendered paper delivers the finest writing experience.
• Writing upside-down: The pressure-activated MegaLine refill writes reliably in any orientation — writing on angled surfaces, sketching pads held in hand, or in awkward positions is no problem.
• Running in ceramic roller refills: Newly fitted ceramic roller refills sometimes need a moment to prime on very smooth paper — a few strokes on regular paper are enough to get the ink flowing evenly.
• Caring for or preserving the patina: Polished brass oxidises in air and develops a golden-brown patina over time. If you wish to maintain the high-gloss finish, wipe the pen occasionally with a soft, dry cloth. If you prefer the patina, simply let the Lazlo work and age naturally.
• Combining stands: The supplied cork stand keeps the Lazlo secure in a vertical position. For a permanent desktop home, consider the separately available stands in solid brass or aluminium — they bring the pen's material to your desk.
