Hobonichi Adhesive Pouch Envelope - Pocket Envelope (A5)
The Hobonichi Pocket Envelope for A5 is a self-adhesive paper envelope pocket that is glued directly onto the front or back endsheet of the Hobonichi Techo. The envelope features a flap closure and a side gusset that gives it some volume – enough to hold slightly thicker collections of small items. Its classic envelope form makes it intuitive to open and reliably keeps it closed.
Special Features
- Self-adhesive back: A peel-off strip on the back adheres firmly to the Techo's endpapers – no tools, no glue, no damage to the pages.
- Flap closure: The envelope flap keeps contents secure, but can be opened quickly at any time – ideal for items that need to be removed and replaced frequently.
- Side gusset: The integrated fold gives the pocket some depth. Multiple stacked business cards, a folded note, or a handful of stickers fit inside without making the Techo bulge awkwardly afterward.
- Perfect fit for A5: The envelope is designed for the A5 Cousin and fits in format and proportion to the endsheets of this Techo size.
Application & Tips
- Business card storage: Store received business cards directly in your Techo – folded or flat, depending on how many you have.
- Sticker depot: Keep decorative stickers, washi tape patterns, or stamps at hand without having to glue them to pages right away.
- Note buffer: Temporarily store loose memos, receipts, or torn-out pages until you decide whether and where to paste them.
- Gluing on the endsheet: If you use your Techo with a cover-on-cover case, glue the envelope to the bookblock endsheet instead of the cover – this keeps the case untouched.
- Combining with other adhesive pockets: If you want to separate different contents, you can glue one envelope each to the front and back endsheet – one for stickers, one for cards.
