Hobonichi x Plus Deco Rush - Little My Strolls Along

The Hobonichi x Plus Deco Rush "Little My Strolls Along" is a decorative adhesive film dispenser in correction roller format – the Moomin character Little My strolls across the page in alternating poses and facial expressions in a dense row. The 10 mm wide PET film is pulled vertically down the page and leaves a playful, lively motif that neither shows through nor adds thickness to the page. The compact polystyrene housing fits into any pencil case.

Features

• Moomin motif "Little My Strolls Along": Little My in many different poses and expressions, for a lively, character-rich decoration of every page
• Vertical application: The tape is designed for vertical pulling – ideal for emphasising individual day fields, columns or page margins
• PET adhesive film instead of ink: No show-through on the back, no uneven ink surface, no perceptible layer thickness – the page remains flat and writable
• Glossy finish: The applied motif has a slight sheen that contrasts pleasantly with matt paper (e.g. Hobonichi Tomoe River)
• Compact dispenser (H 59 × W 25 × D 13 mm, approx. 10 g): Fits easily into a narrow pencil case alongside fountain pens or fineliners
• Single-use product: Not refillable – the roller is designed for complete consumption

Use & Tips

• Accentuate day fields in the Hobonichi Techo vertically: Position the dispenser at the top, pull down vertically – the motif fills the height of a day field
• For clean edges use a flat, hard surface (e.g. a desk pad under the page) so the film adheres evenly
• When setting down the dispenser, tilt it slightly and lift vertically – this breaks the line cleanly without smudging or tearing
• The motif can be placed over already dried ink; since it is a film and not a liquid, nothing underneath will smudge
• Use as a dividing line between different entries: A single vertical strip of Little My divides the page without taking up space
• Compatible with stamps or washi tape – the glossy surface of the film will not accept additional adhesive film, but works as a visual finishing touch alongside other decorative elements

For Hobonichi Enthusiasts

The 10 mm width of the tape corresponds exactly to the width of many day fields in the Hobonichi Techo Original (A6), making vertical use as a column accent particularly fitting. Since the PET film introduces no moisture into the Tomoe River paper, the delicate surface remains completely intact – fountain pens or fineliners applied over the film glide differently (slightly slicker) than on the raw paper. If you enjoy multi-coloured decoration, apply the Deco Rush before writing and deliberately direct lettering onto the surrounding paper.
