Hobonichi Techo Mini Keychain (Red)

The Hobonichi Techo Mini Keychain is a scaled-down Techo at a 1:10 ratio – shrunk to 53 × 48 × 9 mm, but faithful to every detail: butterfly pen holder, back pocket, and a writable grid notebook with 40 pages of genuine paper. The vibrant red of the polyester cover is rich and clear. A brass ball chain link makes it a pendant for the Techo cover, a bag, or a backpack.

Special Features

• Authentic miniature form: The polyester and cardboard cover features the same structure as a genuine Techo – including the characteristic butterfly pen holder on the side and a pocket on the back.
• Writable grid notebook: 40 pages of paper inside can actually be written on – for tiny notes, symbols, or miniature drawings. The grid is scaled proportionally to the original.
• Included miniature pencil: A small wooden pencil comes with the set – perfect for the Mini Techo's pen holders.
• Brass ball chain: The brass ball chain connects the pendant to zippers, carabiners, or bag rings. Brass develops a warm patina over time.
• Vibrant red color: The saturated red of the polyester cover is easy to spot inside a bag at a glance.

Use & Tips

• On the Techo cover: Attached to a Techo cover with a zipper, the Mini Keychain accompanies the original – both in the same red for a coordinated set.
• Use the miniature notebook: With a very fine pencil (0.3 mm or HB mechanical pencil lead), you can create tiny grid entries, to-do checkboxes, or symbol systems on the 40 pages.
• As a bag pendant: Attached to a backpack handle or handbag hook, the Mini Techo remains visible at a glance thanks to its vibrant red.
• Care for the brass chain: Brass elements can oxidize. A dry cloth or metal polishing cloth keeps the chain shiny if desired – or you can let the patina develop intentionally.

For Hobonichi Enthusiasts

The butterfly pen holder – in the original the characteristic closure system of the Techo cover – is miniaturized here to just a few millimeters, but functionally replicated. The grid inside follows the basic structure of the real Techo's grid paper: proportionally adjusted grid lines on 40 actually writable pages. Those working with a very fine pencil tip can use the pages for symbols, index marks, or miniature drawings – the included wooden pencil fits perfectly into the side pen holders.
